So eventually, after all fall 2014 shows are announced and published, I eventually can show a little bit about FW2012. (laugh)

But you(I) know, that blogging (up to date) aint easy!

 

Style.com has concluded that  FW2012 RTW :

                   1. has proposed new silhouettes with exaggerated, even challenging proportions

2. It has deliberately trafficked in items of questionable taste.

3. been continuing to emphasize fabric research. 

I have been so obsessed with neoprene sweaters since seeing Balenciaga Egyptofunk collection from their Fall Winter 2012 collection. And of course I was so desperate to find one replacement. 

Actually, it is not just the material of being neoprene that I am obsessed with, but that the structure of these oversized sweats' cuttings that neoprene can hold up. After the show, a keywords search via google, ebay or stylebubble has boomed.

Such as 

Cocoon shaped,

structured, 

oversized, 

hard material-ed, 

scuba material-ed, 

wetsuit material-ed, 

boyfriend-ed, 

drop shoulderish-ed, 

sculptural padded    

sweaters !

For FW 2012's House of Balenciaga, either a jacquard snake on the wool alike jackets or comic slogans, spacey prints, I did not care about them very much, all my eyes are on these chunky sleeves, round-shaped body cuttings and shining satin alike scuba material, they are the most amazing parts happened in 2012, and I thought that's it, but I was wrong, the oversized trend is back again in AW 2014.

I am not sure what exactly  this neon yellow kimono jacket is

but it looks like a whole piece of neon neoprene folded up.

Seriously? I mean OMG! Look at this skirt! 

Firstly I was just going through all the neoprene material alike pieces at Farfetch, 

but did not expect that I would see something amazing like this. 

There are many similar piece on farfetch, 

many other "wearable' pieces flagged with 

neoprene material, while if a neoprene piece without a oversized or structured design, 

it is wasting the material, in my opinion. 

So, please hold up the structures, 

make them as far as possible from our skin. 

That is all neoprene should be about. 

Go back to this skirt, as I said, most of similar items are just using "neoprene", 

but they are not really using the material. 

Maybe not everyone is chasing this kind of 

dramatic, big, huge, shocking "A"shaped design? 

This also reminds me a piece of Sass&bide doll look dress with a structured hem 

That kind of skirts look like there are wires in circles hidden in their hems.
